Rhino UK worked with Moray Council to design and install multi-sensory rooms and soft play rooms across their primary schools.Read case study
Waves Day Centre provides meaningful opportunities for adults with learning difficulties to improve their quality of life. A new building was purchased which was an old mill and they needed to convert this into a mixed space with a sensory area, soft play area and community space on a tight budget.
Rhino UK provided a unique design to create sensory bays in order for the different areas to be used by different groups at the same time and still be a quiet relaxing space. This project was unique as there was limited wall space, large windows with a large amount of daylight and an extraordinary high ceiling! Rhino was chosen from two others to complete the project due to the innovation in design and our friendly flexible approach.
The design of the sensory bays was carefully implemented to ensure that the maximum amount of sensory equipment was incorporated and ensured that all equipment was effective in the daylight. Each bay was separated by a full length blackout curtain on a track system to allow for flexibility in how the area could be opened.
Rhino UK completed this project successfully to the customers delight on-time and on budget.
