Rhino UK designs and manufactures sensory equipment and sensory resources for schools, care settings, healthcare providers and other specialist environments across the UK and internationally.
With decades of shared experience, our experienced in-house team combines thoughtful design with engineering expertise to create equipment carefully considered for the setting and the needs of the people using it.
Sensory Room Consultancy for Planners and Designers
Beyond manufacturing, we offer sensory room consultancy services to provide support at every stage of a project. Our team can advise on layout, equipment selection and specification for a wide range of settings, including SEN and autism-focused sensory rooms, care homes, hospitals and mainstream schools.
We’re happy to work alongside your existing design team or take on a comprehensive advisory role, helping you to create a sensory room that works within the available space and budget.
Quality and Craftsmanship, Built In the UK
Every piece of sensory equipment we manufacture reflects our commitment to UK-made quality.
Our team draws on decades of collective experience to produce sensory resources that are durable, safe and designed with infection control in mind, an important consideration for healthcare and education settings.
Supplying Sensory Equipment Internationally
We supply sensory equipment and resources to clients across the UK and to international partners, including trade and bulk orders for overseas markets. Our team can talk you through international trade options, shipping and specification support.
For UK-based projects, we work on a bespoke, project-by-project basis rather than bulk or wholesale supply.

"Many thanks for your hard work and dedication and most of all, patience, with the demand of our new Paediatric Burns Unit. It’s all very exciting, and the Rhino resources and equipment look fantastic! Have a well deserved Christmas and a very Happy New Year in 2013."

"The sensory team at Rhino UK were brilliant at finding the best equipment for my daughters’ sensory room. With a no hassle sales approach, everything, from the first phone call to the final handover was very professional. Thank you very much!"

"The Sensory Voyager is a roaring success. I took it out to a ‘mainstream’ four year old on traction at 8:30am and he is still playing with it now at 10:30am! Running the fibre optics through his toes, hiding under them, changing the colours of the bubble tube, and all in all having a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend this item to any organisation, large or small!"

Your Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between sensory equipment and sensory resources?
We use “sensory equipment” to describe the larger, often fixed items within a sensory room, such as bubble tubes, projection systems and interactive panels. “Sensory resources” covers the wider range of tactile, visual and portable items used alongside this equipment to support sensory play and therapy.
Many sensory rooms bring both together, creating a space tailored to the needs of the people using it.
Do you provide installation, or is equipment supplied for local teams to fit?
Both options are available. We can install sensory equipment as part of a complete project, or supply equipment ready for your own installation or maintenance team to fit.
We’ll talk through the options with you at the planning stage to find an approach that works best for your project, timeline and team.
What are the typical lead times for manufacturing sensory room equipment?
Lead times depend on the complexity and scale of the order, but as UK manufacturers we’re able to keep the process moving and keep you updated if anything changes along the way.
Standard sensory resources typically have shorter lead times. We’ll confirm an estimated timeline once we understand your specification.
Can you work from architects' plans or existing room dimensions?
