Rhino UK was invited to tender for this project at the Royal Chesterfield Hospital within the paediatric department.  Rhino UK was awarded the contract, which included taking punctilious time to detailed product information needed to meet the strict infection control standards within the trust.  Rhino UK worked alongside the main building contractors as well as coordinating with the electrical contractors.

Rhino UK worked closely with the client to arrive at a sensory room design to accommodate a wide range of children and young people that come through the hospital.  The project ran smoothly and all deadlines were met.

The project took place in 2010 and the hospital have continued to add more sensory equipment to the rooms as further funds arrived.

We have had our sensory room two years now and its as good as new. It is used every day by the children who attend our Play and Development Centre. Its so versatile, we use it for quiet sensory sessions and for more energetic rough and tumble play. The children really love it and each benefit from the room in their own individual way. The after sales service has been second to none and quality of the product meets fully with our strict infection control policies. A big thank you once again to all at Rhino UK
