Remember the fibre optics DO NOT carry heat or electricity, therefore they are safe to handle.
- Remove the fibre optic tails from the light source by unscrewing the core plug from the light source housing
- Wash the tails in warm soapy water. NO NOT IMMERSE the core plug
- Dry the tails off with a towel, ensuring they are fully dry
- Place the Fibre Optic tails back into the light source housing and secure by tightening the screw.
If one of your Fibre Optic strands snaps (usually caused by being bitten off, trapped or pulled to hard) pull this away from the others and cut it off near to the light source.
